MyBudget's HQ moves to the Adelaide CBD
By Tammy Barton

2 New MyBudget HouseAdelaide Lord Mayor Michael Harbison opened MyBudget House, located at 144 North Terrace, on November 4, 2010. MyBudget's new headquarters accommodate 45 staff and provide the company with the room it needs to continue servicing its expansion. The building's naming rights used to belong to Qantas.

"We've come a very long way from my kitchen table where the company first started," says MyBudget's director Tammy May. "Back then, I was managing a handful of people’s budgets. I started talking to their creditors and paying their bills for them, and the model proved to be incredibly successful."

Today, MyBudget employs 85 people in seven offices across three states. The company is ranked 52nd in BRW's Fast 100 list. The real proof of MyBudget's success, however, is in the thousands of lives that MyBudget has helped put back together. "I’m incredibly proud of our clients who take a big step in making the decision to improve their lives. The type of change we’re talking about takes courage and discipline. In that regard, MyBudget isn’t just a personal budget service, we’re also here to help and educate and to develop sustainable financial skills in our community."
