Keep your internet costs downHow much is your internet service provider (ISP) charging you? Do you frequently go over your data allowance? Are you sure you’re on the right deal for your usage pattern?

The Sydney Morning Herald has reported that some disgruntled customers have discovered that they’ve been paying more than other customers for the same service. This can occur when an ISP drops their prices, but fails to pass on the savings to existing customers. You could be paying more than twice as much as you need to.

If you’ve been with your ISP for more than 12 months, set aside a few minutes to call them. Ask them to review your billing history to see if there’s a plan that better suits your needs or if prices have dropped in the last year. One phone call might save you hundreds of dollars annually.
